The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) commenced an inquiry on Tuesday into a Delta Air Lines flight where a section of the wing became partially detached whilst travelling from Florida to Texas.
The incident took place as flight 1893 journeyed from Orlando to Austin on Tuesday with "a portion of the left wing's flag... not in place," according to an airline statement. No injuries were sustained amongst the 62 passengers and 6 crew members on board the aircraft.
