YOUNGSTOWN Community members gathered at the Calvin Center, located at 755 Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown, to help benefit a Youngstown theater company that lost its performance space.

In May of 2025, Club Switch on Belmont Avenue suddenly closed its doors, citing a lease agreement dispute.

Club Switch management and the Rust Belt Theater Company made posts on Facebook, explaining that the building had been suddenly locked with all equipment still inside.

Club Switch was the chosen space that the Rust Belt Theater Company was using for their performances. With the doors locked, the company was forced to operate without a physical home.
