FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — For the first time, NASA launched at the Minnesota State Fair.
NASA teamed up with the Minnesota Science Museum to bring fairgoers an out-of-this-world exhibit. The science museum offered numerous interactive activities to demonstrate what life is like in space, while NASA showcased rare artifacts from the Glenn Research Center in Ohio.
“We’re trying to get the public enthusiastic and excited about the technology and advancement of the NASA missions,” said Chris Hartenstine, who manages NASA’s Suited and Booted exhibit.
Hartenstine said they’ve been talking with the fair for a year about bringing this exhibit to one of the largest events in Minnesota.
