The Colorado women’s soccer team dominated from the opening kickoff on Thursday night, continuing its unbeaten start to the 2025 season with a 7-1 victory at Prentup Field.
All three of CU’s starting forwards — Hope Leyba, Jace Holley and Emerson Layne — scored during an 11-plus minute span early in the first half as the Buffs improved to 2-0-1.
Leyba finished with a hat trick, Holley posted a goal and three assists, and Layne, a senior, finished with her first two-goal game since her freshman season.
