FULSHEAR, Texas – A recent spike in thefts of GMC Sierra 2500 trucks has left residents of the Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek community on edge. Fulshear Police report multiple thefts and attempts in just one week, reflecting a nationwide trend of rising GMC Sierra truck thefts.

One local resident recounts her harrowing experience with KPRC 2 Reporter Corley Peel after thieves stole her husband’s 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali in under three minutes.

“It was the second day of school. We were getting all the kids ready when my husband came back inside and said, ‘My truck’s gone,’” she recalled.
