DULUTH, Minn.- Thursday was the first day that prep soccer teams in Minnesota could play regular season games.

In 7A, the defending section champions Duluth Marshall saw a three-goal lead slip away to St. Francis, falling 4 to 3.

Benson Peterson had all three goals for the Hilltoppers.

In other boys action, Duluth East is shutout by Blaine, 2-0.
