Hamilton Accies boss John Rankin has urged his side to get stuck in and go for the jugular when they have teams on the ropes. ‌

Accies were 1-0 up inside 15 minutes of Saturday’s Broadwood clash against East Fife, and passed up several chances to add to their lead. ‌

That led to the Fifers throwing on sub Rob Jones, who netted twice in 51 and 53 minutes to take the points back to Methil. ‌

Rankin wants to avoid a repeat of that when he takes his side to Alloa Athletic, looking to bounce back from the home defeat.

“I’m looking for a massive reaction,” said Rankin. “As good as it was last week [4-1 win at Queen of the South], I thought he second half against East Fife was really poor.
