Wildfires in Northern California are intensifying as extreme heat raises fire danger across the state. In El Dorado County, the Coyote Fire has burned more than 600 acres near Somerset, with evacuation warnings in place. In Napa County, the Pickett Fire has scorched over 1,000 acres in Calistoga, threatening several wineries and prompting evacuations to Crosswalk Church in Napa.
