People on Personal Independence Payments face being forced to appeal EVERY ONE of their claims to the Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ), it has been warned.

One benefits claimant who claims the disability and incapacity benefit has spoken out, urging the DWP to reform. Benefit claimant Lydia Thomas explained to the Big Issue Magazine that she would ‘struggle immensely’ if her PIP were to be changed after Labour's upcoming review.

The 32-year-old said: “My experience was very stressful and nerve-racking, and I needed a lot of help and support from professionals and family to help me feel prepared and feel less anxious.
