These striking photos depict the moment a narcotics gang was pursued onto a popular UK beach by the police. Scott Johnston, 38, and Edwin Yahir Tabora Baca, 33, were chased for around 28 miles before being apprehended in front of gobsmacked sunbathers on Gwynver Beach near Penzance, Cornwall. ‌

The images, released by the National Crime Agency , show the smugglers speeding across the sea with a second boat hot on their heels. ‌

The men are then spotted sprinting across the sand by tourists
