Road work for the Las Vegas Grand Prix circuit will begin the week of Sept. 8, organizers said Thursday.
The 11-week project aims to minimize disruption to the Las Vegas Strip, officials said.
No circuit work will occur on public streets during weekends, and most construction will take place overnight, they said. The Formula One race weekend is Nov. 20-22.
The tightened schedule is designed to address concerns from residents, businesses and Strip workers, who have been vocal the past two years about traffic delays caused by course setup and teardown.
