Noah Cyrus has admitted the feud rumours surrounding her family have been emotionally "draining". Ever since her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and mother, Tish Cyrus, divorced in 2022, the Cyrus family has been surrounded by feud rumours. Addressing the ongoing speculation in an interview with People, the 25-year-old revealed that she has learned to remove herself from the "draining" gossip. "I keep myself quite separated from any interest or 'drama' with the family. The one thing that's connected us with the entire world is music, and that's what's the most important to us," the singer said. "Yeah, it emotionally is draining, but it doesn't hurt us or touch us. It's something that you really learn to keep separate and far away from yourself." According to the speculation, Noah fell out with her mother over her relationship with actor Dominic Purcell, whom Tish married in 2023. However, they reportedly reconciled the following year. Meanwhile, her sister Miley and brother Trace have publicly spoken about their issues with their father. According to Noah, the family - which also includes siblings Brandi and Braison - are in a good place today. "Everybody's great and loves each other," she insisted. "I think when you grow up with that being normal - things being public - that it doesn't quite reach you. At the end of the day, this is a family, and that's really it: just going through normal family stuff." In an interview with The New York Times in June, Miley explained that her relationship with the Achy Breaky Heart singer became strained because she "took on some of my mom's hurt as my own", but now her parents are happy in new relationships she "can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing". Billy Ray is now dating actress Elizabeth Hurley.
