DETROIT, MI – A former Bay City hotel manager has alleged in a lawsuit she was sexually harassed by Asad Malik, the CEO of Amerilodge, during a February 2025 company outing to a Justin Timberlake concert.
Stephanie Starling, the alleged victim, filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan against Amerilodge and its CEO on Aug. 13.
The complaint alleges sexual harassment, retaliation, a hostile work environment, assault and battery, and an intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Malik was unavailable for comment when his office was reached via phone on Wednesday, Aug. 20. He has not responded to a request for comment by MLive.
