MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) — A Marshall County man is behind bars after a drug trafficking investigation.

On Thursday, the Marshall County Sheriff's Office searched the home of 53-year-old Johnathan Collins.

Deputies say they recovered one pound of meth, a half pound of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, $40,000 cash, around 35 guns and digital scales.

The investigation involved a joint effort with the McCracken County and Livingston County sheriff's offices.

Marshall County authorities also noted that the county's special response team assisted in the search of the home.

Collins faces meth and cocaine trafficking charges, along with a charge for having drug paraphernalia.
