Tennis fans have been advised to report 'sex-crazed' bugs to local authorities before stomping them to death. ‌

The US Open is set swing into action - but tournament organisers are braced for an invasion of sex-crazed, crop-hungry bugs . ‌

Spotted lanternflies, currently enjoying a population explosion, have been spotted in 29 of New York State’s 62 counties during the scorching hot summer. ‌

And Flushing Meadows, where the tournament is played, the state's fourth largest public park, with a total area of 897 acres. If bugs do appear, fans have been told
