Daviess County tennis rivals Washington and Barr-Reeve took advantage of the cooler temperatures on Thursday, as the battled at Washington Intermediate school.

The Barr-Reeve tennis team won their match against Washington 5-0 on to go 3-0 on the season, while WHS fell to 1-2. For the Vikes, it was the second county win of the week, having defeated North Daviess on Tuesday/Wednesday as well.
