Making it to the Little League World Series is a dream come true for the Fairfield National team and they will be playing in the U.S. championship game on Saturday afternoon.

The team is on a quest to be the first Connecticut team to take the title since 1989, when Trumbull won.

Fairfield National, the Metro team, is 4-0.

On Saturday afternoon, they will again be taking on the Mountain team, the Summerlin South Little League from Las Vegas, Nevada. The two teams last faced off on Wednesday and Fairfield won, 7-3, and Summerlin is now 4-1.
