In recent seasons, no team has dominated the SAC quite like Carroll. Since the Chargers, Snider and Bishop Luers finished in a three-way tie for the conference title in 2021, the Chargers have won two outright SAC crowns and gone 24-1 against league opponents, including two sectional wins in 2024.

But the Chargers (9-3 in 2024) have said goodbye to three-year starting quarterback Jimmy Sullivan, who is now at Iowa. They’ve also lost all three running backs with more than 20 carries last season, as well as center Caiden Abbs and offensive guard Mason Irmiter, who both earned first-team All-SAC honors as seniors.
