CALISTOGA, Calif. (KRON) -- Several crews spanning across multiple agencies continue working overnight at the site of a vegetation fire near Calistoga that jumped to 3,993 acres by Friday night, according to Cal Fire.

As of Friday evening, there was 7% containment on the Napa County blaze that officials have dubbed the Pickett Fire.

"That 1,102 acres of growth from when it was last mapped on Thursday night can be attributed to the fire backing to strategic fuel breaks and historical control lines," said Cal Fire. "There has been no new threat to structures on Friday."
