On Friday, the House Oversight Committee will receive the first collection of Jeffrey Epstein files from the Department of Justice.

Earlier this month, the House Oversight Committee issued subpoenas demanding the release of documents of Epstein and his former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Department of Justice is expected to provide the first wave of Jeffrey Epstein documents to Congress on Friday.

These documents will be turned over to the House Oversight Committee, which on Aug. 5 issued a subpoena to the DOJ for files in the Epstein sex trafficking investigation, part of a probe that some legislators believe may show connections to President Donald Trump and ex-top officials.
