A Florida man was sentenced to four years of probation after pleading guilty to one count of declaring as a resident when an individual is not a legal resident, a first-degree misdemeanor, for voting twice in the 2024 election.
Philip Moss, 83, of Boca Raton, must provide a DNA sample to state police under the negotiated sentence worked out by Deputy District Attorney Doug Rhoads and defense counsel David Bush.
Assistant District Attorney Hannah Wylesol, standing in for Rhoads before Common Pleas Court Judge Deborah A. Krull on Wednesday, said Moss may transfer supervision to Florida and can petition the court to terminate probation after two years if all costs are paid and there are no violations.
