If you were hoping to get yourself a Thomas Müller Vancouver Whitecaps jersey, you may be out of luck.

Sales of jerseys since Müller joined the Whitecaps earlier this month have been so brisk, the team is almost out of stock of the home “peak” jerseys.

According to a team source, the team’s official store in Gastown has sold out of men’s replica shirts — jerseys come blank but most fans usually add a name to the back — and has fewer than 50 authentic shirts in stock. And if fans were hoping to pick up an authentic shirt at B.C. Place on Saturday, when the Caps will host St. Louis FC, again don’t hold your breath: the team will have only a limited selection of shirts available in men’s, women’s or youth sizes.
