SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - William Byron and the No. 24 Team claimed the 2025 Regular Season Championship this past weekend in Richmond.

Byron will enter the playoffs with an extra 15 bonus points due to this title, taking some of the pressure off of this weekend’s regular season finale in Daytona.

Just because Byron is locked in to the Playoffs, don’t expect the back-to-back Daytona 500 winner to drive in the back of the pack.

“Honestly, every speedway I try to race very similar. Just try to be aggressive and be up front because it’s typically the safest place to be,” said William Byron, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet.

All but one of Byron’s Hendrick Motorsports teammates have already locked themselves into the 2025 playoffs, with Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott winning earlier this season.
