CAMP SHERMAN, Ore. (KPTV) - A man accused of sexual misconduct while working as a youth advocate in Jefferson County was arrested in Portland on Thursday.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says they received multiple reports of alleged sexual misconduct by an employee at Camp Caldera in Camp Sherman.
Deputies interviewed several victims on August 12, who named the suspect as “Bear,” later identified as 28-year-old Zackary Perry of Portland.
Camp Caldera officials says Perry worked as a youth advocate and media coordinator. Officials says three staff members came forward with allegations against Perry almost two weeks ago and he was terminated from his position.
