After more than three decades in prison for fatally shooting his parents, Erik Menendez has been denied parole. At a ten-hour hearing on Thursday that included statements from family members in support of his release and letters from correction-staff members calling him a “model inmate,” the California Board of Parole said Menendez “continues to pose an unreasonable risk to public safety,” according to CNN .
