GRAY — Two local swimmers from the KCEOC Aquatic Club (KAC) recently took on a new challenge by competing in the Kentucky Swimming Open Water State Championship, held at Taylorsville Lake State Park in Taylorsville, Ky., on July 1.

Mila Hammons, 12, and Aiden Senel, 15, participated in their respective age and gender groups, alongside approximately 250 other swimmers from across Kentucky and the United States.
