Palmer Township police raided a township spa on Thursday following an undercover investigation into alleged prostitution.

The search took place at Sun and Moon Spa, 3128 William Penn Highway, following complaints about suspicious activities. Township police said the incidents happened throughout July and August and involved female workers performing sex acts for cash.

Investigators seized cash and condoms, which were hidden in various locations throughout the spa, police said.

Two workers, a 40-year-old woman and a 46-year-old woman, both possessing U.S. employment authorization cards stating they were born in China, were taken into custody. One of the women was found to be in the United States on an expired visa, police said.
