ATLANTA — Vice President JD Vance has arrived in metro Atlanta on Thursday.

According to a release issued earlier in the week, VP Vance is visiting Peachtree City to "highlight President Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill and the historic tax cuts it delivered for working class American families."

Georgia gubernatorial candidate, Republican Lt. Gov. Burt Jones, greeted Vance and the Second Lady as they walked off the plane.

It has not yet been officially released what kind of specific function he will appear at.

Gov. Brian Kemp and Lt. Gov. Burt Jones both posted on social media Thursday morning about the vice president's visit, though neither post was explicit on whether they'll be joining Vance at his appearance:
