U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro suggested National Guard troops and federal law enforcement officers could keep patrolling Washington until there is no crime.

In a sit-down interview with Pirro, the News4 I-Team’s Ted Oberg asked Pirro when she would recommend the Trump administration let federal agents go back to their jobs and National Guard troops return home.

“That’s up to the president,” Pirro said.

Oberg asked Pirro how she might reply if President Donald Trump called her and asked.

“We’re all looking for a metric,” Oberg said. “We’re all looking for something on a report card that people can strive for to say, OK, D.C. is back in control.”
