The Michigan Wolverines announced their team captains for the 2025 season on Thursday, and two of the six selected joined historic company.

Max Bredeson and Rod Moore have both officially become two-time team captains. It’s not a surprise they were given the captainship nod given they both returned for a fifth season, but there have only been 20 multi-time team captains in school history, so it’s a huge accomplishment for both of them.

Bredeson discussed with the media on Thursday what it takes to be a captain at Michigan and how he sets a standard for the program.
