Graduation hit the Joplin boys' soccer team hard, with eight players from the 2024 squad that finished 13-10 moving on, including COC West All-Conference first-teamers Ely Montanez, Ian Trejo and Adam Badr.

But the cupboard isn’t entirely bare for head coach Desmond Williams. Returning for the Eagles this season are sophomore keeper Gage Stovern, who earned second-team all-conference honors as a freshman, and senior defender Ever Blanco, who also earned a spot on the All-COC second-team last season. ×
