CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A joint operation by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's Eastway and North Tryon Divisions led to multiple firearms being taken off the streets.
The operation was aimed at addressing the rise in robberies and auto thefts in the Magnolia Hills and Dunlavin area.
CMPD officers seized four firearms, one of which was stolen, and a quantity of suspected marijuana.
