The father of Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has been arrested on charges of attempted murder in connection with an incident in Las Vegas, according to several reports.

According to Las Vegas Metro Police, Quenton Marselles Brown, 57, is accused of stabbing a man on South Buffalo Drive on Wednesday evening.

The man was stabbed several times and was in critical condition, police said.

A records search confirmed Quenton Brown is the father of Jaylen Brown, according to KTNV.

The stabbing happened at All American Park during a dispute about a parking space, according to KTNV.

Police said Quenton Brown fled the scene, but was later arrested.

Quenton Brown is a retired professional boxer.
