ATLANTA — One suspect is in custody after a police chase and shooting near Perimeter Mall. Two others are still on the run, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is investigating the case.

The incident began early Thursday morning at 3 a.m. after a robbery was reported at Request Boutique at Perimeter Mall.

According to Dunwoody Police, the suspects used a sledgehammer to enter the mall and the boutique and allegedly stole an unknown number of luxury handbags and then left the store.

Police said as they were leaving the mall, the suspects stole a mall security vehicle while a guard was patrolling on foot. The suspects then drove off in the stolen car.

A police chase then ensued on Perimeter Center West and went across the street, where the vehicle pulled into 66 Perimeter Cente
