(Gray News) – Blue Bell is issuing an allergy alert after its Moo-llennium Crunch ice cream, which contains nuts, was accidentally packaged in tubs labeled as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.

Blue Bell is voluntarily recalling the ice cream because of the mix-up, saying in a news release that the undeclared allergens of almond, walnut and pecan puts those with allergies at risk.

Blue Bell said the Moo-llennium Crunch ice cream was packaged in half-gallon tubs labeled as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but the lid is correctly labeled as Moo-llennium Crunch.

No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported.

The products were distributed at retailers in the following states:
