The Food Safety and Inspection Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced on Thursday , Aug. 21, that chorizo and other pork products sold by Sabrositos Hondureños have been recalled. The products were reportedly labeled with a false USDA inspection mark.
The affected products include 14-once packages of homestyle, smoked, cased and spicy barbecue-style chorizo labeled “OLANCHO Chorizo Suelto Olanchano,” “OLANCHO Chorizo Ahumado Olanchano,” “OLANCHO Chorizo Olanchano Criollo,” or “OLANCHO Chorizo Parrillero.” Copy article link
