EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. − For many Eagles players on the so-called roster bubble, the Aug. 22nd preseason game against the Jets is the final chance to convince the coaches that they deserve a spot on the 53-man roster.
That's because the NFL's roster cutdown day is looming on Aug. 26. The Eagles, like every NFL team, have to pare their roster from 90 players down to 53.

But we probably won't get one last look at the positions where competition is fiercest, at cornerback and safety. Injuries might have something to do with that. Eagles rookie Drew Mukuba seemed to be on t
