Eric and Karen Parsons waited more than two weeks for official word on the status of their home in the fire-ravaged N.L. community of Ochre Pit Cove.
When they got a call from the RCMP at 6 a.m. Friday morning, it was good news followed by a gut punch.
The house is still there, but it's been ransacked.
Their blue 2022 Can-Am Outlander ATV was stolen, and they worry what else may have taken from their home.
