An Australian podcaster known for his love of conspiracy theories, the occult and “everything clandestine” has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death .

Tobias Marcus Nuttall, 32, who co-hosts the “Waking World” podcast , was arrested on Wednesday after authorities were called to a home in Bassendean, Australia, and found a 30-year-old woman suffering from multiple stab wounds , according to local reports.

She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital in critical condition but later died from her wounds.

Nuttall was taken into custody and appeared on Friday in Midland Magistrates Court, where he didn’t speak other than to confirm his name , according to Australia’s ABC News. He was ordered to remain in custody until his next court date on Sept. 17.
