PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) will soon launch a new system for unemployment insurance eligibility, On Your Side has learned.

“We look forward to increased technology support and additional self-service options for claimants,” Brett Bezio, a spokesperson for DES told On Your Side.

The new system, scheduled to roll out in the fall, is expected to expedite the claims process, which has been riddled with delays in recent weeks.
