MUSKEGON, Mich. — The Burning Foot Beer Festival is back this weekend for its 10th year on the shores of Lake Michigan.

All day on Friday at Pere Marquette beach, crews put the final touches on one of the state’s most unique summer celebrations.

Festival Board Member Allen Serio said it's the only beer festival that takes place in the sand in the state of Michigan.

“This is a great way to bring them all into Michigan. We spend the weekend out here supporting craft beer,” said Serio.

Saturday's event starts at 3 p.m. and will feature 75 breweries from six states, 600 different beers and seven different music acts that will take place across two beachfront stages.

Serio said the music acts will be a blend of local and regional artists.
