High Point police have charged two men with felony death by distribution in separate drug overdose cases, the High Point Police Department said Friday.
Detectives arrested Tyler S. Hazelwood, 34, of Rural Hall on Friday and charged him in the Jan. 10, 2024, fatal drug overdose of a 29-year-old man found dead inside a home on Middlewood Court, the release said.
He is further charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. Hazelwood’s bond was set at $500,000. He is being held in the Guilford County Detention Center in High Point.
