Aggravated assault and related charges were dropped Friday against a Darby man accused of pulling a gun on a woman as she was taking her children to school . Earlier in the week he was convicted of trespass and related offenses in a separate incident.
Monte Singleton, 33, of the 200 block of South Fifth Street was accused of threatening to shoot a woman on Sept. 8, 2023, as she was dropping off her children at Drexel Hill Middle School.
The woman told police Singleton exited his vehicle, came up to her car, showed her a handgun and made a threatening remark. He then got back in his car and drove south.
Singleton had been charged with four counts of aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, making terroristic threats and firearms violations, all of which were withdraw
