Hours after BigXthaPlug held an album release party, the rapper was arrested and booked in a Dallas County jail.

According to Dallas County Jail records viewed by PEOPLE, the rapper born Xavier Landum, 27, was arrested on Friday, Aug. 22 and booked on charges of marijuana possession (less than two ounces) and unlawful possession of a firearm at 2:20 a.m., following the release of his highly anticipated studio album I Hope You're Happy .
