Domnique Gibbons couldn't figure out what's wrong when her son would "throw a fit" as the school bus came to pick him up everyday.
The Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office says Leland Gibbons, a nonverbal student with autism and epilepsy, was assaulted by school employee, Holly Condra on Tuesday, August 19.

She was booked in the Sequatchie Co. Justice Center and released on a $2,500 bond.
Sheriff Bill Phillips says there is video evidence of the incident. After reviewing that footage, Phillips says "there was a slap" and "what appeared to be a squeezing of the face."
The following day, Gibbons and her family friend, Misty Pierce, spoke with Sequatchie County Schools. Gibbons and Pierce also reviewed the video of the incident.
