The Department of Education says George Mason University (GMU) has violated federal civil rights law for allegedly factoring in race in their hiring practices and promotions.
The Trump administration has made Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs a target and vowed to eliminate the practice from public and private institutions.
