Well, there won’t be a Bryson DeChambeau vs. Brooks Koepka showdown.

Even though their teams will face each other in the semifinals Saturday, Aug. 23, in LIV Golf’s Michigan Team Championship at The Cardinal at Saint John's, the two rivals won’t go head-to-head in singles.

DeChambeau, captain of Crushers GC, picked a match against Koepka’s Smash GC team. But after Koepka announced himself as the No. 1 singles player for his team in the semis, DeChambeau avoided Koepka by naming himself the No. 2 singles player, opting instead to face Smash’s Talor Gooch.
