PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating after an altercation led to a shooting involving a SEPTA bus.

The incident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Friday on Frankford Avenue near Worrell Street in the city's Frankford section.

Police told Action News the altercation involved two males. One of them got off the Route 3 bus, turned around and opened fire. A second individual also exited the bus and returned fire, according to surveillance video reviewed by investigators.

It is unclear if anyone was injured.

At least one person is in police custody.
