A Cal Fire employee has been arrested in connection with a double homicide in Cameron Park, California. Deputies found a woman and a young boy with fatal gunshot wounds inside a home on Oakwood Road. Authorities identified 47-year-old Darin McFarlin, a Cal Fire employee, as the suspect. He was arrested in Mono County and later booked into the El Dorado County Jail on suspicion of two counts of homicide. A second boy in the home was found safe. The victims have not yet been publicly identified.
