DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Judge granted a motion to release Jamison Fisher in his drug case on Friday.
Fisher faces several murder charges for Trudy Appleby’s death in 1996, but is currently in the Scott County Jail on an unrelated drug charge.
Scott County Attorney Kelly Cunningham asked the court to change the conditions of Fisher’s release in Iowa so Illinois authorities can take him to Henry County so he can be tried for the murder of Trudy Appleby, according to court documents.
This comes after Rock Island County State’s Attorney, Dora Villarreal, told Cunningham about timelines under Illinois law that need to be met for Fisher to be arraigned, according to the motion.
Fisher is still in the Scott County Jail on a $50,000 cash-only bond for unrelated drug charges.
